The appearance of desktop sticky notes is highly customizable. You can:

Make quick reminder using alarm feature
|
NotesPP is perfect for making quick reminders, which will inform you about the approaching dates and events and other important matters without interrupting your work. With this computer sticky notes software, you can set alarm for each note to be reminded about daily tasks or special dates and events such as birthdays, anniversaries and business meetings at the appointed time.
Notes++ also keeps you informed of the events you missed when the computer was turned off. Because of recurring alarm reminders can be set to occur as often as you want.

Send notes over LAN/Internet or via e-mail
|
Notes++ is a perfect tool for communicating with your friends and colleagues. Using Notes++ you can create sticky notes and send them to your friends and colleagues over LAN or the Internet. Furthermore, the program can be used as a reminder service - you can set up alarm (including recurring alarm) for each note you send to your friends or co-workers to remind them about daily tasks or special dates and events using different alarm actions.
Using NotesPP you can send notes via e-mail. The e-mail will be created using your default e-mail client. Recipient will receive your note in the form of letter with note's body inserted into the e-mail body and title as subject.

The program maintains three security levels (high, normal, low). Varied access for different users(accounts) allows you to protect sticky notes from unauthorized access. If you are using normal or high program security level, access to sticky notes and Administrative tools is protected with password.

Address Book is designed to help you store and organize information about your contacts. It can store all the personal details you could want from names, addresses, phone numbers to birthdays and nicknames. Contact information in your Address Book can be organized into different groups. Format note's text using paragraph settings
|
• Paragraph Line Spacing
Line spacing determines the amount of vertical space between lines of text in a paragraph. By default, lines are single-spaced. Using "Line spacing" option you can set 1.5 lines, double or multiple line spacing.
• Paragraph alignment
Horizontal alignment determines the appearance and orientation of the paragraph edges: left-aligned, right-aligned, centered.
• Bulleted and Numbered Lists
Working with note's text you can create bulleted and numbered lists. You can quickly add bullets or numbers to existing lines of text, or the program can automatically create lists as you type.

Set up default settings for newly created sticky notes
|
Title templates: using title templates you can choose date and time format and set up default title text.
Default title properties: font color, background color, font.
Default body properties: font color, background color, font, use default image as background.
Default note properties: size, priority, transparency, show attach panel, auto lock, use random colors for new note.

If this option is on, sticky notes will be automatically locked after the set period of time.
