Backup and restore your notes
Notes PP automatically creates backup copies of your notes to protect them from being accidentally deleted and system failures and allows you to restore your notes from backups quick and easy.

Enable or disable automatic notes backup
By default, Notes PP automatically creates backups of your notes database and Address Book on program exit. You can turn the automatic backup feature on or off at any time.
Double-click on the Notes PP desktop icon and select 'Administrative Tools'.

Under 'Options':
- to enable automatic backups, select the Backup Databases on exit option.
- to disable automatic backups, remove the check mark for the Backup Databases on exit option.
The names of backup files include the product version and the date of creation: backup_notespp_version_YYYY-MM-DD--HH-MM-SS.dat, e.g. backup_notespp_9.0_2009-05-30--06-29-58.dat
Change the number of backups that are stored
You can change the number of backup copies that are stored. By default, Notes PP stores 10 backup copies of your notes database.
Double-click on the Notes PP desktop icon and select 'Administrative Tools'.
Under 'Options', enter the number of backups of your notes databases you want to store.

If the Store independent databases for each PC user option is on, backups of the notes database for each user are stored in user's Documents and Settings folder:
On Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\MoRUN.net\Npp\
On Windows Vista C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MoRUN.net\Npp\
If the Store independent databases for each PC user option is off, all notes backups are saved to the directory where the program is installed
by default C:\Program Files\MoRUN.net\NotesPlusPlus
Restore notes from a backup file
Exit the program.
If you don't want to remove the current sticker.dat file, save it with another name or in another folder. Then replace it with the necessary backup.
If you don't need the current sticker.dat file, just replace it with the necessary backup file.
